Justin
Ray Jackson was born to the parents of Dave Jackson and Rosanna
Jackson in Longview, Texas on April 6, 1976. Though his parents
were both from the small town of Perry, Oklahoma, they had
recently moved to Texas. When Justin was only a couple of
months old, his folks realized that it’d be a lot easer to
talk relatives into babysitting if they lived close by, so
back to Perry they went. Justin Attended Perry Elementary,
Jr. High, and High School where he graduated in 1994. He grew
up in the country outside of Perry and spent his childhood
shooting guns, fishing, and setting things on fire – a hobby
he still enjoys today!

Justin
spent his first year of college at Northeastern State University
in Tahlequah, Oklahoma before transferring to Oklahoma State
University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree
in Electrical Engineering Technology. After shacking up for
a couple of years, Justin and his girlfriend, Emily, wed when
he was 21. At the ripe old age of 22, Justin’s daughter, Abrianna,
was born in Stillwater Oklahoma where they lived at the time.
After
a tornado destroyed their home in May of 1999, Justin and Emily
moved from the country into a small house in Perry. He and Emily
were divorced in 2000 - that’s about the time that he borrowed
his first guitar from an uncle and started picking at it.
